How is it different from a school calendar?
A calendar lists dates. An almanac is the whole reference document: policy, rules, contacts and timings as well as dates. School eDiary carries both — the academic calendar month by month, and the almanac content alongside it.
Can we still print an almanac as well?
Yes, and many schools do for the first year while parents get used to the app. The digital version then becomes the authoritative one, because it is the version that can be corrected.
Who can edit the digital almanac?
Only staff the institution authorises, through the School On Web admin. Parents and students have read access.
Does the holiday list update automatically?
It updates when your office updates it. Once published, every parent sees the change and is notified — there is no separate step to push it out.
